(We all know that, somewhere in time and space, there is a parallel universe where humans are more advanced in technology by the year 2017, in which this story will take place. Hope you enjoy, buds.)
~Chapter 1; Mark POV~
I don't remember what happen. At least, I hope I don't. I wish I didn't. As I sit up, my stomach turns and twists. I groan at the pain of feeling sick. "You okay?" Bob's hushed voice startles me. I jump, as does my stomach. I cover my mouth with one hand as I gently grasp my aching belly with the other. I rush down to the bathroom, Bob following. I make it to the bathroom, but- 'BLEH' ... I didn't make it to the toilet. I scramble over to the porcelain bowl. As I continue to puke my guts out, I hear Bob shuffling through the mirror cabinets. "Hey, Mark? You did remember to take your shot before you started drinking, right? I completely forgot to remind you to do that. But, I thought 'he's had this new shot for his allergic reaction to alcohol for a little over a week now. He should know the drill by now, right?' So, did you?" Bob asked in a, nearly, panicked tone. I had finally calmed my stomach and started to think. 'Shit, Mark. Did you take it?' I guess I sat there for a little too long trying to remember because, Bob snapped his fingers in my face. "Hey! Mark!" I looked up at Bob. "uh, I, honestly, don't exactly remember whether I did or not." I stared at Bob as he stared back at me. I think we were both having that same 'Oh Shit' moment. Finally, after a while of staring at each other in shock, I got up and walked out. "I'm gonna go get dressed, Bob. Think you can drive me to the hospital in a bit?" Bob walked out to the living room and started to get his shoes on. "Yeah. Let me know when you're ready."
After Bob drove me to the hospital, I signed myself in and sat in the waiting room with Bob. We sat there for a while, watching as doctors and nurses run around the hospital, the patients that had been seen sign out and leave, other patients walk in and sign in then sit to wait. After a few more patients left, I notice a few girls whispering and glancing over in my direction. I think they might have noticed me so, I turn back around to face the other way. Next thing I know, I hear Bob chuckle. I look at him, confused. "Mark, I saw you checking out those girls. Why not just go talk to them?" I roll my eyes as I rest my elbow on the arm of the char and place my chin in my hand. "You know exactly why, Bob." Bob shakes his head. "Geeze, Mark. That was 6 years ago. You gotta move on." I sigh and focus my sight to the floor. "5, Bob. It was 5 years ago. And I can't just 'move on'." Bob nudges my shoulder. "Yes you can. You just haven't tried hard enough." I was about to say something back when we suddenly hear my name called by one of the doctors. I stand up and go with the doctor.
~Skipping of the time~
I sign out of the hospital and walk out to the waiting room to let Bob know that I'm fine and that we can go back to my place. I look around for Bob but, I can't find him. "Bob? Where'd you go?" I look back at where we were sitting while we waited for me to be called. 'his jacket isn't there anymore. Maybe he went outside?' I walk out the door and walk around the building. I still can't find him. I go to the parking lot and go to where he parked. His car isn't there. a small pink beetle now sits there. "DAMNIT BOB!!!" I pull out my phone and call him. He answers. (B=Bob M=Mark)
M;Hey. What the hell Bob?! You just left me here at the hospital!
B;Uh. . . What?
M;Me, Mark! Still at the hospital! After we didn't know if I took my shot or not? Remember?!
M;Yeah? I still need you to drive me home.
B;I'm sorry, you must have the wrong Bob.
M;Haha. very funny, Bob. Come on. Come pick me up.
B;I'm not gonna pick you up. I don't even know you.
M;Bob, stop messing around. Please, I need to get back so I can record more.
B;I'm not messing around.
M;So, are you gonna come pick me up?
M;Why? What'd I do to make you ditch me?
B;Why don't you ask the doctor? He knows what happen.
M;Why don't you just tell me, Bob?
B;I don't wanna talk to you anymore than you wanna talk to me. the only reason you called me is cause you need a ride. I'm done talking to you mark. Buh-bye!
"Bob? BOB!!! Damnit! What the fuck?" I go back into the hospital and ask the receptionist to let me talk to my doctor. Once again, I need to wait.
~One hour later~
The doctor finally walks out. I immediately get up and rush to him. Before he can speak, I blurt out. "What happen between me and my friend? He said to ask you because you saw it all and he refuses to talk to me anymore. What the hell happened!?"
What happens next? I, honestly don't know. But, yes, you still have to wait in the waiting room at the hospital in this dimension. I don't know what this is gonna be yet. Septiplier? Markerm? MarkXReader? I don't know. I'll let you guys decide. Whatever this turns out to be, I hope you guys enjoy it.
Until next time. Later, buds. . . Bye.
